2001 A Space Odyssey add-on A stunning Celestia add-on created by and hosted on his site by Jean-Marie Le Cosperec that puts you in space above Earth. The year ... 2001 ... the place ... the spacecraft from the famed movie, "2001, A Space Odyssey". Contains over 85 carefully crafted models and spacecraft, many with movements and scripted scenes recreated from the movie. These include over a dozen spacecraft, Astronauts Dave Bowman and Frank Poole, the HAL computer, two moon bases, the monolith in position around Jupiter, etc.


2001, Dance to the Blue Danube and Also Sprach Zarathustra Two scripted journeys through the world of "2001, A Space Odyssey", meticulously choreographed to the music from the "Blue Danube" and "Also Sprach Zarathustra". Witness the PanAm Orion space plane dock with Space Station V. Follow the moon shuttle to a landing inside the Clavius moon base. Discover the monolith found buried on the moon. In a separate script, witness the Jupiter Discovery spacecraft in position between Jupiter and its moon, Io. The destination ... the massive monolith floating in Jupiter space, rotating slowly to music.
